The successful candidate will help develop methods to address problems in genetic, cancer, reproductive and/or environmental epidemiology. He/she will have the opportunity to work with data from a family-based study and large cohort projects. In methodologic work, we are interested in the use of genetic data to study epistasis and gene-by-environment interaction, in developing methods for summarizing reproductive histories, methods for nonignorably missing confounder data, and approaches to study etiologic heterogeneity. However, research topics are not limited to those, and candidates with different topics of interest are encouraged to apply.
Qualifications:
Candidates should have or be very close to obtaining a Ph.D. in biostatistics or epidemiology (with a strong interest in methods), or in a closely related area. Programming skill is required. Excellent communication skills and fluency in both spoken and written English are essential.
To Apply:
Interested candidates should submit their curriculum vitae, a detailed statement of their research interests, and the names and contact information for three references to Dr. Clarice Weinberg at weinber2@niehs.nih.gov .
