Medical Workforce have an exciting opportunity available for an individual who would like to gain experience within a niche environment. This is a fixed term contract for 12 months, full time 37.5 hours per week position, Monday to Friday during core hours.  

The ideal applicant will have experience of working in a complex administrative environment using Microsoft Office and with considerable experience of setting up systems and processes.  In addition to which have experience in gathering and analysing complex data using Excel.  

We are a small but growing, busy, friendly and welcoming team, providing a professional service for Medical staff at University Hospitals Southampton NHS Foundation Trust. The Medical Workforce Team is responsible for the creation of compliant work schedules for doctors in training and trust appointed doctors, setting up and monitoring of Exception Reporting and Medic Rostering on HealthRoster.

A key part of this role is to provide administrative support to both the Medical Workforce team and to our customers, to support medic rostering across the Trust and to support clinical areas achieve their business objectives through fair, effective management and implementation of relevant contracts.
