Each month an extra payment of $167 (up to $10,000) from Avera will help pay down your principle balance faster. **Job SummaryMonitors, coordinates and performs timely, accurate, quality clinical laboratory results utilizing all available human and material resources within the laboratory.

Education and/or Experience

• Bachelor’s degree from a 4-year college or university and completion of NAACLS accredited Medical Lab Scientist program acceptable to the ASCP or AMT for the Medical Lab Scientist or Medical Technologist is required.

Certification, Licensure, Registration

• Certification as Medical Lab Scientist from the ASCP or AMT required within 12 months of hire.
• Completion of the Child Abuse & Dependent Adult Abuse courses for Iowa Mandatory Reporters within 90 days of employment and every three years thereafter.

Work Schedule

• Monday – Friday; Days with rotating evening involvement
• Occasional Saturdays on a rotating basis

PayThe hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.

• $26.25 – $39.50 per hour
