Cubicure GmbH develops, produces, and distributes industrial 3D printing solutions for polymer parts in Vienna.As a Mechatronics Engineer, you will work in a team of experts developing tools for industrial additive manufacturing machines as well as related software products.   • Manage and execute mechatronic related development projects in the team for product and feature development.
  • Plan, design, and carry out build test-setups and feasibility studies.
  • Administer and develop circuit design and PCB projects.
  • Manage transition from development to product finalizations and manufacturing.
  • Commission, measure, and test assemblies and machines.
  • Research and dimension mechatronic components (e.g. actuators, sensors, control components) in consideration of country-specific standards.
  • Design and develop PLC software, drive, regulation and control concepts as well as calculate and tune controllers
  • Collaborate with the software department to develop and design interfaces to software components.
  • Evaluating and optimizing processes and procedures and ensure standard-compliant implementation of safety, programming, and cabling concepts including compliant documentation.
  • Contribute to the development of guidelines and processes, drafting modern and applicable work instructions for the team and the interfaces to other departments.

In this role, you’ll need …

  • At least bachelor studies in mechatronics, electrotechnical engineering or equivalent field.
  • At least five years of work experience in field of mechatronics or electrotechnical engineering.
  • Advanced knowledge of mechatronics components, electrical circuits, and electrical safety as well as applying standards and regulatory.
  • Experience in execution and planning of mechatronic related projects.
  • Willingness to develop further knowledge in state-of-the-art mechatronic concepts.
  • Ability to understand and solve complex, multi-faceted problems.
  • Independent, precise, and responsible way of working, team spirit and high problem-solving skills.
  • Good written and spoken German and English skills.
