What’s involved in the Milright role:

• Maintain good maintenance practices to ensure production targets are met.
• Perform maintenance task including:
• Hydraulic; Electrical; Pneumatics; Mechanical.
• Refrigeration; Boiler Repairs; Welding; Instrumentation
• Perform building maintenance and maintenance on equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance.
• Maintain computerized parts inventory / work order system.
• Order spare parts. Install equipment.
• Perform housekeeping duties.
• Perform all duties in a safe manner. Follow all company policies and procedures.

These duties are only the basic and prime duties of the position, related duties will be assigned from time to time as may become necessary to the operation of the Dairy Operations.

Qualifications:

• Minimum Grade 12 education or equivalent. Mechanical Technology diploma or licensed Millwright.
• A combination of related experience and training may be considered.
• Experience with food processing equipment and high-speed packaging is an asset.
• Good troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Electrical, refrigeration and boiler experience is an asset.
• Ability to work independently with a high level of self-motivation and initiative.
• Dependable with a good attendance record and safety record.
• Must be available to work shifts, weekends and call in when required.
• Must be physically fit.
• Strong communication skills and ability to perform as a team leader.
• Must be able to work efficiently with limited supervision.
