Master Scheduler & Project Controller
We are currently seeking a Master Scheduler & Project Controller to help lead and support our Peterborough Fuel Bundle Assembly Production team. The Master Scheduler & Project Controller is responsible to ensure the medium- and long-term forecast, demand and production plans are scheduled on-time and at the correct configuration for the entire Fuel business to ensure customer needs are met. The role also controls, monitors, and communicates the performance of Fuel projects relative to their contracts.
Specific responsibilities and accountabilities include:

Master Schedule: Creation, maintenance and reporting of the Fuel Master Schedule:

Create the master schedule based on customer needs that also optimizes efficient operations in each Fuel Plant (Arnprior, Brampton, Toronto, Peterborough).

Modify master schedule as needed to support changing priorities of customer or the business.

Closely monitor and communicate progress against the master schedule, with internal plants and key suppliers .

Ensure the master schedule is shared with the supply chain and purchasing organization.

Project Controller: Maintenance, control and reporting of project performance relative to contract:

Create and analyze the Earned Value (EV) performance for each contract/project and update the EV curves monthly and quarterly.

Coordinate and control Contract Change Notices (CCNs) when the project Estimate At Completion (EACs) or contract value changes .

Keep up to date the Estimate At Completion (EACs) for each contract/project.

Maintenance of JDEdwards budget for hours and dollars for each contract/project.

Coordination of OPG additional work (outside of the fuel supply-for example recor sequencing).

Project Cost monitoring and planning.
Qualifications and Experience:

Post Secondary education in Supply Chain or equivalent experience and education.

Knowledge of SAP or other MRPC systems an asset.

APIC’s certified an asset.

Minimum of 5 years working in manufacturing environment in a scheduling capacity.

Experience working in nuclear energy or aerospace environments preferred .

Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Suite and MRP enterprise systems required.

Demonstrated experience in improving manufacturing information systems.

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, in the English language .

Strong leadership abilities to plan and organize to meet production and operational objectives.

Able to work with little or no supervision .

The base salary range for this position in [[stateProvince]] at the start of employment is expected to be between $82,000 and $124,000 per year. However, the base salary offered is based on local job market factors and may vary further depending on factors specific to the selected job candidate, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to these considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, such as an annual cash incentive in addition to a full range of medical, retirement, and/or other benefits.
