| Job Summary | The Theatre and Dance Department in the College of Liberal Arts, the University of Texas at Arlington, invites applications for a Master Electrician. |
| Essential Duties and Responsibilities | The ME will work directly with the Lighting Supervisor in the implementation of all the department’s theatrical lighting needs, including hanging & focusing lights, equipment maintenance/repairs, production dimmer checks, organization, supervise student crews, and basic electrical work. | Preferred Qualifications | Experience with theatrical sound technology a plus |
| Working Conditions | Position works in heights on the department’s catwalk system, scaffolding, and personal lifts. Successfully candidates must be able to stand & walk for extended amount of time and maintain balance on elevated surfaces. |
