Job Title: Manual TesterLocation: Albany, NY (Hybrid)We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualificationsResponsibilities:
Design, develop, and execute manual test cases for various software applications.
Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies.
Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and develop effective testing strategies.
Perform regression testing, functional testing, and usability testing.
Review and analyze system specifications and user stories.
Report bugs and errors to development teams in a clear and concise manner.
Validate fixes and ensure issues are resolved before deployment.
Create and maintain comprehensive test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
Participate in test planning and estimation activities.
Provide feedback on product quality and usability from a user perspective.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience in manual software testing.
Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
Proficiency in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
Experience with bug tracking and test management tools such as JIRA, TestRail, or similar.
Basic knowledge of SQL and ability to query databases.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Good communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
