Manual Machinist in Woodbridge, Ontario

Description:

The shop is looking to add a manual machinist to their team to keep up with clients orders as the business is growing. They have a quick turnaround time of next day orders for clients an work in a fast paced work environment.

The candidate will be operating manual lathe machines and manual mill machines. They will be following blueprints for fabricating these parts. Measuring tools to measure and do quality checks.

Basic MIG welding would occur rarely, welding experience is an asset.

• Read blueprints to determine what equipment and materials are necessary for the job

• Follow the blueprints to create the appropriate tools and components

• Operate your machines to grind, cut, and polish the materials

• Finish projects using manual tools

• Inspect and maintain equipment to ensure they remain in good working order

Shift:

Day shift Monday-Friday
