Job Summary:

This role manages the Scrum Master team/chapter for

LMI Technology. Responsible for building and developing scrum master capabilities, driving enablement and maturity growth of organizational agility and enabling more effective flow of value for

the organization. Responsible for the professional/knowledge growth scrum masters and contributing to the overall agility subject matter expertise in the organization.

Requirements:

• Develops scrum master talent
• Coaches and mentors SMs, managers, and POs to improve both their own and other`s knowledge and skills
• Shares best practices across the organization
• Pinpoints opportunities for engineering practices to build ability to deliver high quality, high value business outcomes
• Facilitates difficult conversations with groups/teams
• Identifies and works with key stakeholders to address anti-patterns that impede organizational agility
• Drives organization level data-driven continuous improvement through focused qualitative and quantitative retrospection
• Ensures proper transparency and visibility into dependencies and risks
• Develops deep platform expertise and partners with vendors to understand and influence platform strategy and direction
• Builds relationships with Heads of Product, Product Owners and Program Managers and develops understanding of business strategy, needs, priority
• Builds strong partnerships with Engineering Managers
• LMI lead in LM-wide agility initiatives

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of Agile development methodologies as typically acquired through a Bachelors` degree in relevant field (business, computer science, etc.) and a minimum of 10 years` experience in business, engineering, technology and/or consulting. Master`s degree preferred.
• High level of proven business expertise needed to engage in product model evolution and drive associated Agile best practices aligned to business strategies and needs.
• Strong influencing skills in order to be seen as the decision maker when interfacing with business, and willingness to dissent with both teams and business.
• Comfortable with making decisions with some level of uncertainty.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
