Manager Researcher Services

• Full time/Continuing
• Campus independent – Can be based at La Trobe University’s Melbourne (Bundoora) or Victorian regional campuses
• HEO9 – TRP $137,322 – $145,480 per annum inclusive of 17% superannuation

About the position

This position provides direction for the development of services and programs and manages, reviews and evaluates services to support researchers, including the provision of repository, archives, publications and researcher liaison services, training, research data management, open scholarship including open research and the collection and storage of University research data outputs.

Skills and Experience

To be considered for this position, you will have

• Post Graduate qualifications in information management/archives and records management or a relevant discipline or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and education/training
• Demonstrated ability to analyse, develop and implement innovative client services, policies and practices in pursuit of continuous improvement
• Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain sound working relationships internally and externally and to communicate effectively and negotiate on a range of sensitive and complex issues
• Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in a complex and political environment and balance a range of priorities and expectations, including working with and influencing senior management
