HEW 9, $119,295 – $124,115 per annum plus 17% employer superannuation contribution. This is a full time (36.75 hours per week) continuing appointment.

About the Role

The Manager, Partnership Operations is a key role within Victoria University’s TNE Partnerships Unit, managing partner and stakeholder relationships, contracts, budgets and program operations for the University’s Transnational Education (TNE) and third party delivery programs.

About the Person

  • You will have significant experience in transnational and international education environments and have ability to manage education partnerships and possess a good understanding of the Australian and relevant off-shore legislations pertaining to the TNE program and service delivery
  • You will be known for your business acumen in assessing new business projects and preparing business cases.  You will be able to demonstrate well-honed interpersonal and communication skills, with proven ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships both internally and with external stakeholders whilst supporting the achievement of organisational goals
  • You will be able to demonstrate the ability to develop and manage complex operational budgets, manage and monitor contracts whilst ensuring compliance with contractual obligations, regulatory and quality assurance frameworks
  • You will be known as a great team player who is proactive in fostering a collaborative environment, carefully balancing the management of staff and a shared commitment to delivering excellence in a high pressure environment with competing priorities

 

Duties

Duties will include:

  • Managing designated TNE partnerships with the support of Partnership Coordinators
  • Developing & managing Agreements and Operative Schedules, undertaking a review process prior to renewal of agreements
  •  Developing and managing budgets for the TNE Partnerships Unit
  • Working closely with the Strategic Projects Lead in the preparation of business cases and project implementation
  • Effectively managing stakeholder and partner relationships
  • Providing operational and strategic advice and recommendations to the University’s senior management on matters relating to new and current partnerships
  • Undertaking research and analysis, preparing briefing papers and other similar documentation in relation to TNE partnership performance, risks and opportunities
  • Developing, monitoring and reviewing risk matrices for partnerships in alignment with the University’s risk framework and procedures
