Our activities stretch from building and automating mission-critical infrastructure in AWS and Azure to defining custom deployment pipelines to troubleshooting performance issues in the build to service mesh layers. We build a wide range of custom engineering enablement tools and support these as part of the SDLC critical path. The individual we are looking for will provide leadership in all of these areas.Key ResponsibilitiesLead team planning and coordination within each sprintCoordinate with the other Ad Platform teams to ensure proper prioritizationHold high quality standards to ensure solutions are scalable, secure, resilient, and reusableNavigate and solve issues between teams with respect to project initiatives and technical dependencies

Remediate issues between members of your team, both interpersonal and technical in natureMentor team members and participate in their growth as engineers.Guide technical solutions to ensure they align with business needs and timelinesBasic Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software, Electrical or Electronics Engineering, or comparable field of
study, and/or equivalent work experience8+ years of cloud infrastructure experience8+ years of software development experience with a foundational programming language like Java, C#, JavaScript, Go, Scala, or Python3+ years of experience with running containers on Kubernetes: EKS or AKSAdvanced expertise in AWS and/or Azure, Service Mesh implementations, Terraform, automation and devops workflowsSOX compliance and requirements familiarityExperience with Spinnaker/Jenkins and DockerDemonstrable analytical/problem solving skills in a complex environmentGreat communication and collaboration skills with a strong focus on continuous improvement and teamwork with both technical and non-technical audiencesProven leader who has grown the careers of engineers, driven change, and made an impactStrongly Preferred:Deep experience with AWS and AzureAWS and/or Azure CertificationsExperience managing EKS and IstioAnomaly detectionAIOpsExperience managing vendor relationships and teamsAd Tech industry experience#disneytech
The hiring range for this position in Seattle, WA or New York, NY is between $175,800 – $235,700, Los Angeles, CA is between $167,700 – $224,900 year, in San Francisco is between $183,700 – $246,400. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
