Manager: Health and Clinical Education (HEO 8)

  • Based in UniSA Allied Health & Human Performance at the City East campus Location
  • Full-time 12 month, fixed-term contract due to start in December 2022
  • Commencement Salary: $104,143 per annum (plus 17% superannuation)


About the Role

Reporting directly to the General Manager, the Manager: Health and
Clinical Education is an expert adviser to the Dean: Clinical Education
and equity.  The role is responsible for the management of the UniSA
Health Clinics, managing aspects of the clinical education strategy and
working closely with colleagues in the UniSA Department of Rural Health.
 The Dean Clinical Education and Equity role works across UniSA Allied
Health and Human Performance as well as UniSA Clinical and Health
Sciences, and as such the Manager will be required to work with the
leadership teams and key stakeholders from both Academic Units.

Essential Skills and Experience

  • A degree in a relevant discipline (or significant equivalent
    knowledge, skills and experience) and extensive project management
    experience across a range of activities
  • Demonstrated understanding of health and clinical education issues
    and opportunities in the higher education environment
  • Demonstrated capacity to develop and implement strategic plans and
    translate strategic goals into operational plans
  • Proven high level organisational, analytical and information
    literacy skills with high-level written and verbal communication skills
  • Extensive experience in leading a team and solid negotiation,
    problem solving and conflict management skills
