What are your contributions to the team?

  • Support the CPO and Procurement directors in cost reductions initiatives, contract negotiations and monthly / weekly governance process (travel may be required)

  • Review and approve supplier strategies and contract proposals + business cases

  • Support IGS cost reductions initiatives with aligned commodity strategies (ex. freight)

  • Ensure business partnership with Logistics teams for raw material and 3PL inventory management

  • Lead and drive special projects

  • Assess and recommend contracts accounting treatments and keep financial guidelines updated

  • Coordinate financial planning with other teams, PAP process and prepare executive financial presentations

  • Maintain proper internal controls in place

  • Present financial information and analysis to senior management in a clear, concise, and compelling manner.

  • Support the development, engagement and mobilization of a team of 5 financial analysts

How to thrive in this role? Skills, knowledge & experience:

  • You possess a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance and have ten (10) years of relevant experience including employee supervision.

  • You hold a professional accountant designation (CPA) or equivalent experience.

  • You have impact and influence with senior management and strong business partnership background

  • You have agility to deal with strong personalities and rally people; support leaders to achieve their goals

  • You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively translate financial data into actionable insights for various audiences.

  • You have a strong business sense

  • You have an executive presence and strong communication skills in French and English

  • You can take charge and drive complex projects and strategic presentations

  • You have a good ability for teamwork

  • You think outside the box

  • You develop people and grow talent

  • You are bilingual in both spoken and written.
