Join the team at KDP and make a difference to consumers with one of America’s leading producers and distributors of hot and cold beverages helping to satisfy every consumer’s beverage need, anytime and anywhere.The Manager of Corporate Events – Global Sourcing & Strategic Meeting Management is a key role in bringing the KDP portfolio to life, aligning with our brand and event objectives. This position will lead the hotel sourcing programs and strategic meeting management initiatives across KDP. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in domestic and international hotel sourcing, financial planning, SMM program implementation, event planning, and project management. This role will primarily focus on SMM and destination/hotel sourcing but will also require a small amount of event planning as needed to support the team.Responsibilities:Global Sourcing:

  • Collaborate with Corporate Events Operational Managers and internal stakeholders to understand business needs and establish sourcing initiatives aligned with business goals.
  • Lead complex and multi-year venue and hotel RFPs, considering audience needs and sourcing suitable options to support the company’s strategy.
  • Manage the contracting process, negotiating pricing and terms to minimize risk and maximize value.
  • Utilize companywide buying power to secure the best options at affordable costs.
  • Manage hotel and supplier relationships, conduct business reviews, and develop master service agreements.
  • Lead continuous improvement efforts for the SMM program, updating processes and managing event lifecycle within Cvent.
  • Oversee project management for sourcing within the SMM program, ensuring adherence to timelines and accurate tracking and evaluation.

Strategic Meeting Management:

  • Business Insights: Interpret data findings and translate them into meaningful business insights. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business objectives and provide strategic recommendations based on data-driven insights. Identify key drivers of business performance and proactively propose actionable solutions to optimize operations and drive organizational growth.
  • Performance Metrics: Develop and maintain performance metrics, dashboards, and reports that effectively communicate key findings and provide visibility into business performance. Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas of improvement and track progress towards organizational goals.
  • Change Management: Act as a catalyst for change by driving data-focused initiatives within the organization. Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies. Develop and implement change management strategies to ensure successful adoption of data-driven insights and recommendations.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices in data analysis, business intelligence, and organizational change management. Continuously enhance technical skills and knowledge to effectively leverage new tools and technologies for data analysis and visualization.

Leadership:

  • Manage, train, coach, and develop direct reports and program teams.
  • Adapt communication styles to achieve goals effectively, moving with speed and working with an agile mindset.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure effective SMM workflows
  • Identify and prioritize critical projects/tasks, keeping the cross-functional partners focused on meeting deadlines.
  • Communicate departmental objectives, priorities, and expectations.
  • Provide continuous coaching and mentoring support.
  • Implement individual developmental plans with measurable goals.
  • Conduct performance appraisals and training initiatives for direct reports.
