Who are we looking for?

Queensland University of Technology (QUT) is seeking a Manager, Continuing Professional Education
to join QUT Graduate School of Business, Faculty of Business and Law, Academic Division.

The Continuing Professional Education Faculty position provides leadership in the development, implementation, review and improvement of continuing professional education across the Business and Law disciplines in the Faculty of Business and Law. This position also plays a key role in industry and student engagement.
The position works closely with academic staff across all Schools in the Faculty as well as centralised support functions including Business Development, QUTeX Design Studios and QUTeX Digital Marketing.

What you need to succeed

You will demonstrate:

1.    Education, training and/or relevant experience equivalent to the completion of postgraduate qualifications in a business related discipline or related area in conjunction with relevant experience in continuing professional education.
2.    Demonstrated ability to develop, implement and review a large volume of simultaneous continuing professional programs and courses.
3.    Proven high levels of coordination, including the ability to achieve performance targets of scope, time and cost with a high quality outcome for internal and external stakeholders.
4.    Demonstrated experience in communicating and negotiating effectively, both orally and in written form, with a wide range of clients including senior managers, executive groups and a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.
5.    Proven ability to successfully influence multi-disciplinary teams involved in the design, development and delivery of continuing professional education.
