The UHealth Financial Planning and Analysis is currently seeking a full time Manager of Capital Planning. The Manager, Capital Planning – UHealth, under the direction of the Executive Director FP&A, supports the capital budgeting, forecasting, and reporting for UHealth/MSOM through partnering with key capital stakeholders and communication throughout the fiscal year. This role will enable efficient and effective deployment of capital by tracking strategic expansion, multi-year, and routine replacement programs across the enterprise. This role will also be responsible for evaluating current capital processes and making recommendations for improvement, while ensuring a solid communication strategy to keep all stakeholders involved and informed.
CORE JOB FUNCTIONS

Partners with senior finance management, facilities, treasury, and the PMO team to ensure alignment of capital budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting for UHealth/MSOM portfolio of capital programs.

Leads analysis of historical/actual /forecasted results of capital programs.

Leads the development and maintenance of short- and long-term financial forecasts.

Participates with senior finance management in the development and enhancement of executive level reports for monitoring of capital project-level performance.

Evaluate, identify, and monitor threats and opportunities and integrates this analysis into communication to senior finance management and appropriate departments.

Conducts fixed asset depreciation analysis, budgeting and forecasting with appropriate operational and financial stakeholders.

Develops subject matter expertise on fixed asset classification, useful lives, and lease vs buy analysis.

Assesses standard operating procedures within finance, makes recommendations for process improvement, and drives such efforts.

Prepares reporting on capital programs and presents status reports to stakeholders.

Provide oversight of staff / analyst

CORE QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in relevant field.
Experience:
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
