Job Description

• Assist the Director of Development in fundraising activities
• Work with internal stakeholders (faculty, programme offices) on gift opportunities
• Develop proposals and funding/gift ideas
• Manage donor stewardship (visits, special events, impact reports, interviews, acknowledgements) to engage and enhance donor experience to promote continued support
• Oversee gift administration and donor data management
• Manage financial matters, including department budget, financial reporting, donor pledges, fund disbursements and endowment spending limit
• Administer workflows and related guidelines, policies and processes
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• A degree with at least 5 years of relevant work experience, preferably in fundraising or similar capacity
• Creative problem solving and good project management skills
• Good understanding of financial and data reporting
• Strong communication (written, verbal and presentation) skills in both English and Mandarin, due to frequent liaising with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders
• Internet savvy with good computer (Microsoft suite) skills
• Meticulous, self-motivated and positive personality
• Collaborative team player as well as individual contributor requiring minimum supervision
• Experience with SAP and other CRM software a plus
