Manager, Access UCC, Disability Support

Fixed Term Whole Time Post 

(duration 12 months) 

UCC wishes to appoint a Manager of Access UCC, Disability Support.  Reporting to the Head of Access UCC, the Manager of Disability Support will contribute to the University’s commitment to widen participation by supporting systems, policies, strategies and interventions that will enable the University to support equity of access to higher education for students with disabilities.   

The Manager of Disability Support will have a specific strategic role in developing and collaborating on policies that embed best practice in accommodating and supporting a diverse range of students in an academic environment. The role will support the development and delivery of targeted outreach activities, orientation and transition supports, and innovative inclusive post entry supports aimed at supporting the admission, retention and progression of students with disabilities at University College Cork.

Appointment may be made on the Admin I (Grade 7) Salary Scale: €72,946 – €96,093 (Scale B) / €70,437 – €91,287 (Scale A) 

Salary placement on appointment will be in accordance with public sector pay policy.
