Major Gifts Officer

Would you like to contribute to a life-changing educational experience for deserving students? As Major Gifts Officer for Jesus College you will be responsible for working with a portfolio of high-value relationships as well as proactively building new networks and contacts with the intent to solicit and secure major gifts in support of the College’s fundraising priorities. Your role will be varied and challenging where patience and good humour will serve you well. 

You will work with the Director, Fellows and senior staff to articulate why Jesus College is the right place for philanthropic investment. As a member of the College’s Development & Alumni Relations Office, you will be joining a small but committed team of dedicated and supportive colleagues in a rewarding work environment.

This is a new role, and we are looking for a thoughtful and collaborative team player who is passionate about making a difference in an institution where young people are encouraged to discover their sense of agency, where academic values are a core concern and where freedom of thought and expression is paramount.

If you are a creative thinker with strong writing skills and a values-driven approach to philanthropy, alongside an exceptional track record in major gifts fundraising with an understanding of and acceptance for tradition in a centuries-old institution, then please apply.
