| Description | Reporting to the Assistant Vice President of Individual Giving, the Major Gift Officer is a dynamic, out the door position for someone interested in applying fundraising, customer service, or story-telling skills to an exciting part of UNE’s history. This position will manage a portfolio of 150 identified major gift prospects and develop strategies for qualification, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship of major donors using a moves management system to maintain an active and productive portfolio. Working closely with a variety of key University administrators, faculty, and staff, the MGO will be able to match donor interest with University initiative and priorities. Engagement strategies include significant travel and in-person visits. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills, attention to detail, independence, and creative thinking. UNE is entering a fast-growing phase and the Institutional Advancement team is looking for team players, problem solvers, and go-getters! |

| Qualifications | Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate discipline and 3-5 years of relevant fund-raising experience, or a combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills are acquired.
