Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • Excellent customer service skills to include strong interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Intermediate computer operations knowledge.
  • Ability to interpret and apply complex rules, regulations and policies.
  • Hire contingent upon successful background check and driving record verification.

Typical Experience:
Preferred two years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of training and experience.
Required Education or Training:

High school diploma or equivalent and two years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of training and experience.
Alaska Driver’s License (must meet and maintain UAA safe driver verification criteria).
Must be able to safely lift, operate handtrucks/carts/dolly, and pass forklift certification process.

Salary Information:

This is a full-time, 12-month, non-exempt staff position complete with both a competitive salary and full employee benefits package . New hires will be placed on the UA staff salary schedule , Grade 75, based on education and experience.
