Peckham Industries educates, innovates, and applies technology in a way that is safe, sustainable, inclusive, and profitable.Job Summary:The Logistics Administration Specialist will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial accuracy and efficiency of paving and hauling projects by managing key accounting and administrative functions within the XBE platform. The ideal candidate will have a background in accounting and experience within the construction logistics industry. This role is vital in maintaining accurate job cost tracking and ensuring that all financial processes are handled with precision. The position currently reports directly to the Construction Controller.Essential Functions:1. Focused. Oversee accurate timecard entry and processing for truckers in construction projects, including verifying hours, ensuring compliance with labor agreements, and making adjustments as needed.2. Dedication. Generate accurate invoices for hauling services, align billing with project agreements, process payments promptly, track payment status, follow up on overdue accounts, and ensure vendor compliance.3. Measurement. Produce detailed reports and analyses on project costs, financial performance, and resource utilization, including job cost reports and weekly KPI distributions. Use these reports to identify trends, concerns, and cost-saving opportunities.4. Results Matter. Ensure accuracy of job costs by monitoring and reviewing trucking aspects of paving and hauling projects, cross-checking data, reconciling discrepancies, and validating costs with project managers.Requirements, Education and Experience:1.2-5 years in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.2.Experience in the construction logistics industry, particularly in paving and hauling projects, is highly desirable.3.Proficiency in using the XBE platform or similar construction management software is preferred.4.Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
