YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Undertake the full range of general, specialist, elective and emergency duties of a consultant paediatric cardiologist as outlined in the job description, whilst supporting the development of excellent congenital cardiac services across the Oxford-Southampton Network.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We are looking to appoint a well-motivated paediatric cardiologist, potentially with sub-specialty interest and expertise that suit the needs of the department.  Our department has a culture of being open and supportive of its team members. We will be looking for someone who can complement this way of working. The department has a strong ethos in education and research and the successful applicant will be expected to contribute to this activity.

Individuals wishing to apply must be fully registered with the General Medical Council (GMC) and should be either already on or within 6 months of eligibility to be included on the specialist register of the GMC.

The successful candidate will be employed under the terms and conditions of service for Consultants (England) 2003.
