• Critical Thinking & Assessment: Conduct thorough patient assessments, recognize changes in patient conditions, and implement appropriate nursing interventions based on unit-specific protocols.
• Collaborative Care Planning: Work closely with unit-specific multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients in diverse settings.
• Patient & Family Education: Educate patients and their families about the care process, treatment plans, and discharge instructions, adapting communication to the needs of different units.
• Accurate Documentation: Maintain detailed and accurate records of patient assessments, treatments, and responses in the electronic health record (EHR) system, ensuring high-quality and consistent care across all units.
• Flexibility & Adaptability: Float to different units as needed, providing essential coverage and support wherever it is most required. Quickly integrate into each team and understand unit-specific protocols.
• Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest evidence-based practices and unit-specific procedures through ongoing education and professional development.
• Mentorship & Leadership: Support and mentor new nurses and nursing students in various units, fostering a positive and collaborative learning environment.
