“The Licensing Analyst (“”LAN””) is responsible for supporting licensing associates, licensing officers or senior licensing officers with identifying technologies for commercial applications, evaluating the commercial potential of technologies, identifying potential licensees, preparing non-confidential technical information for marketing purposes, developing and implementing specific marketing strategies for each technology. The LAN receives significant coaching and oversight to help them advance their knowledge and experiences in preparation for becoming a licensing associate or licensing officer.

The ideal candidate will be a visionary and inspiring team member who is committed to fostering an inclusive, innovative, and high performing culture with a varied group of people representing diverse ideas, perspectives, and backgrounds. Has the ability to work in a complex organization and further the goals and objectives of technology commercialization at The Ohio State University. Is self-motivated, an effective verbal and written communicator, has executive presence and demonstrates high emotional intelligence.

Required Education/Experience

Entry licensing team position – requires no prior professional experience. Minimum Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
