Job Summary

• The LPN is responsible for assisting the registered nurse in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care.
• The LPN is accountable for all patients assigned to him/her according to established policies and procedures of Avera St. Luke’s and the scope of practice for the licensed practical nurse.

Education and/or Experience

• Post high school completion of accredited licensed practical nurse program.
• Previous hospital experience, critical care experience preferred. Must possess good communication skills.

Licensure/Certification/Registration

• Current license to practice in the state of South Dakota with expanded role LPN.
• Previous nursing experience is desirable, but not required.

Work Schedule

• Monday – Friday; 72 hours 2 weeks

• 7:00 am – 7:30 pm, 7:00 pm – 7:30 am
• Every 3rd weekend/holiday

PayThe hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.

• $22.75 – $31.50 per hour
