Library Resources and Environment Assistant


About the role
This is an exciting time to join our Student and Library Information Services Team. The post of Library Resources and Environment Assistant is a part of an integrated customer services team.




You will be responsible for working directly with our diverse student body answering basic enquiries. You will work as part of a team to ensure that library resources are returned to the library shelves in a timely and accurate manner.

You will also assist with maintaining the quality of the study environment and the general appearance of the library.

The service operates extended hours over seven days and we have two posts available, which is listed below (please indicate in your application which posts you are applying for).


Post One:

Tuesday 14:30-17:30, Thursday and Friday 17:00-20:00

Post Two:
Wednesday to Friday 14:30-17:30

About you
With a strong commitment to delivering excellent customer service, you will be comfortable working with and supporting our diverse student body and enjoy the challenges of working in a fast-paced, customer-facing role.

You will be proactive and passionate about service improvement, learning new things and working as part of a professional customer-focused team.
