Position Details
| General Statement | Working as a member of the Cataloging, Metadata, and Processing unit of the Collection Access and Technical Services (CATS) department, this position performs metadata creation and assigns semantic web topics for library collections, using appropriate schema, to ensure materials in all physical and digital forms are optimally accessible; refines and improves metadata for library collections based on search engine optimization best practices; and performs data entry of metadata records into a variety of databases, digital asset management systems, and other applications, using specialized software tools; and is responsible for managing all physical processing and mendery (where library materials are repaired) activities. |
