Legal Operations Director Join the Leader in RNA-Targeted Therapy! Our client, a major pharmaceutical corporation headquartered in Carlsbad, California, has consistently been at the forefront of RNA-targeted therapy. With a commitment to scientific excellence and innovation, our client is seeking an experienced Legal Operations Director to join their dynamic in-house team in a hybrid capacity. You will play a pivotal role in establishing and managing the Legal Operations function within the Legal Department. Reporting directly to the Vice President, Deputy General Counsel, you will be responsible for overseeing Legal Department operations, including budgeting, process development and improvement, and technology integration. Key qualifications for success:

• Substantial prior experience in establishing or growing a legal operations function
• Operations project management expertise
• Expertise in legal technology (e.g., e-signature, e-billing, matter and workflow management, contract management, enterprise legal management, Sharepoint)
• Experience in document review, document productions

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
• 7+ years of relevant experience in legal operations or the legal field
• JD and in-house experience at a biotech or life sciences company preferred

Salary: $171,000 – 257,000 plus great benefits
