The Department of Economics at the University of Bath has serval exciting opportunities available!
About the roles
We welcome applicants in all fields, however seeking applicants with particular expertise within in Applied (Micro-) Econometrics and in Macroeconomics/Finance/Macroeconometrics/Financial Econometrics.
For appointments at Lecturer level, essential criteria include:
- An emerging track record in research in relevant subject commensurate with stage of career
- Experience of teaching at UG/PG level
- Ability to form positive working relationships within the University, community, business and other partners
For appointments at Senior Lecturer/Reader level, essential criteria include:
- Substantial experience in relevant research field
- Established track record in research in relevant subject commensurate with stage of career
- Strong record of research funding as appropriate to the discipline
- Be able to demonstrate a depth and breadth of understanding of subject matter at a complex conceptual level
All roles are offered on full time (36.5 per week) permanent basis.

The Department of Economics at the University of Bath promotes a vibrant research environment through the aforementioned specialist research themes and our five dynamic research groups: (I) Macroeconomics and Finance (II) Econometrics, (III) Economic Theory, (IV) Public and Environmental Economics, and (V) Labour/Education/Health Economics.
