We are seeking to appoint a knowledgeable and engaging Lecturer/Senior Lecturer to join the School of Film, Media and Performing Arts at Farnham. The principle function of this role will be to facilitate delegated teaching and learning activities for the Integrated Foundation students in the School. 

You should be an experienced practitioner/lecturer with relevant skills in one or more of the areas of Film, Media and Performing Arts. These include Acting, Design for Theatre and Screen, Film and TV Production. Animation is of particular interest. Previous and proven outstanding teaching experience is desirable.

You will have a good honours degree, a PGCE (or working towards one) and/or HEA Fellowship. You need to have good professional experience and detailed knowledge of contemporary developments in the subject area and wider creative industries.

You must be able to communicate a range of practical and theoretical ideas through hands on teaching, seminars and tutorials. You must be able to inspire and motivate students.

This is a fixed term contract from 25/09/2023 until 31/07/2024. 

The actual pro rata salary for this position will be £23,608 – £32,637 per annum.

This role is for 21.75 hours, 3 days per week. However, we will also consider applicants for 7.25 or 14.5 hours per week.
