Are you passionate about researching and teaching contemporary screen media?  We are looking for candidates who can make a substantive and varied contribution to our BA (Hons) Film course but also contribute to delivery on the BA (Hons) Film and Screen Studies programme. You must have a strong research agenda in screen media and be able to deliver modules in film analysis, film theory and cinema in the digital age. 

To be successful, you will:

·      Contribute to student-focused, inclusive and innovative teaching and assessment in film and screen theory.

·      Draw on knowledge acquired through scholarship and/or research in teaching activities such as lectures and seminars.

·      Demonstrate up-to-date and sound knowledge of contemporary screen media including current critical and theoretical developments

·      Contribute to research and/or scholarship in contemporary screen media

This role will include engagement in all aspects of course development, operation and promotion.

You will be based in the School of Art and Media at our City Campus, a hub for the University’s creative courses, ground-breaking exhibitions and international research.
