Lecturer (Scholarship)

We are looking to recruit a Primary Lecturer within the Department of Initial Teacher Education to deliver our ITE portfolio. The appointment would be at 0.6 FTE and would be for one year to cover a period of maternity leave.

You should be positive, creative and collegial to teach across our primary education undergraduate courses and work in other areas informed by your expertise and interest.

Applicants must be registered, or eligible for registration, with the General Teaching Council for Scotland (GTCS) with professional experience as a teacher or related professional in primary education. A higher degree in education is desirable.

Salary will be at the appropriate point on Grade 7, £43,414 – £51,805 per annum pro-rata with placement according to qualifications and experience.
