The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has become available for a Lecturer or Senior Lecturer to join the Department of Pharmacology in the School of Biomedical Sciences within the Faculty of Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences. 

As a Teaching & Research academic, the successful applicant is expected to make significant contributions to the teaching of Pharmacology which include unit coordination and preparation as well as delivery and assessment of teaching activities. This position is also expected to conduct research leading to high quality publications and attract external funding.

We are seeking someone with a recognised university PhD degree in pharmacology, or related discipline, with relevant postdoctoral experience. You will have a proven track record of leading a successful research program as well as experience with undergraduate teaching, and supervision of undergraduate, honours and higher degree research students.

This role is a full-time position; however, flexible working arrangements may be negotiated.
