While there may not be an immediate need for a lecturer in every area, UW-Stevens Point (UWSP) accepts applications regardless, in order to create a pool for when there may be a need. Upon successful submission of your application, you will be considered for future part-time lecturer opportunities, and your application will be on file as a potential candidate who could possibly fill a position if or when the need arises. Lecturers are hired on a per-course basis each semester, and teaching one semester does not guarantee being assigned the following semester. The teaching hours for a lecturer will vary with a teaching load ranging between 1-12 credits per semester.

The School of Education (SOE) is part of the College of Professional Studies.
