Position Summary The Purdue School of Engineering and Technology, Indiana University–Purdue University at Indianapolis (IUPUI) invites applications for lecturer/senior lecturer appointment in the area of Information Technology/Cybersecurity. The anticipated start date is January 1, 2023.
The position will focus on teaching cybersecurity courses such as information security fundamentals, network security, and offensive security, developing curriculum, updating courses, and cybersecurity labs. The position requires teaching diverse undergraduate students, advising, conducting scholarship of teaching and learning, and service to the Department, School, and IUPUI campus. The teaching load for the position is four courses per semester.
Qualifications include an M.S. in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related discipline from an accredited institution of higher education; and the ability to translate theories and concepts into practical applications. Experience in experiential learning, hands on experience, is required.
