We are seeking applications from Lecturer’s with outstanding academic achievement.

Key responsibilities of this position include:

• Foster an outstanding student experience and encourage active participation and engagement in learning and teaching across the spectrum of the University’s undergraduate, and postgraduate program suite facilitating high quality, student-centred learning activities.
• Continuously improve teaching practice through professional development and critical reflection informed by a range of evaluation approaches.
• Foster innovation and a future-focused approach to support high quality learning and teaching outcomes for students evidenced by technology enhanced learning, problem oriented, authentic learning and assessment practices.
• Contribute to the advancement of knowledge through a building and maintaining a research portfolio of high-quality outputs that demonstrate impact.
• Develop meaningful and impactful partnerships with the broader community, by actively engaging and collaborating with external stakeholders.

These are two (2) full time, continuing position base at Nathan and Gold Coast campus. Griffith is a multi-campus University, there may be a requirement for you to work across other campus locations.

About You
The successful candidate will possess a PhD in Marketing or other relevant discipline. You will have an excellent record of publications that will ensure that Griffith continues our outstanding achievements in research.

In addition to the above, you will demonstrate:

• Facilitate high quality, student-centred learning activities consistent with Griffith Graduates of the Future strategy.
• Demonstrate knowledge, skills and leadership in teaching and curriculum development, and a proven ability in the administration of university courses and program
• Commitment to fostering innovation and a future-focused approach
• Track-record in promoting and supporting a student-centred service culture
• Excellent communicator, with effective communication and interpersonal skills and a commitment to working in a collegial manner, contributing to a positive culture and the aspiration of the Department and the University.

Salary Range 
The base salary for a Lecturer (Level B) position is in the range $100,137- $118,916 per annum, plus 17% employer superannuation. The total package is in the range $117,160 – $139,132 per annum.
