What you’ll do

You will make a leading contribution to UniSQ’s teaching and
applied research within the area of Electrical and Electronic
Engineering by:

  • Making a valued contribution to the School and Faculty through
    innovative teaching and learning outcomes
  • Leading and motivating higher degree research supervision and
    course completion
  • Developing and implementing engineering education innovations to
    efficiently access potential new engineering education markets
  • Participating in externally funded research projects which will
    provide for future opportunity in the development of course content
    and student engagement.


What will help you succeed

Your industry experience will be complemented by your
well-developed interpersonal skills and commitment to delivering
quality teaching in the area of Electrical Engineering.  In addition,
you will have:

  • Completion of a PhD or professional doctorate in a relevant
    discipline or equivalent standing
  • Ability to deliver a collaborative approach that results in
    engaged teaching outcomes
  • Ensure student centric outcomes through ongoing engagement in research.

As a Lecturer, you will play a significant role in research
projects and build key relationships within relevant industries and
with other educational institutions.

Distance and on-line education experience as well as
demonstrated teaching experience in generic areas such as Engineering
Management will be highly regarded.


This position will be based at either our Toowoomba or
Springfield campus.

Salary:  Total remuneration range $119,401 to
$141,128 pa (includes salary range of $100,888 to $119,246 pa,
employer superannuation contributions of 17% of salary and annual
leave loading)
