Job description

The University of Central Lancashire has made a major investment in engineering research, teaching and knowledge transfer with industry through the development of a new Engineering Innovation Centre at the Preston campus. This investment will exploit our location at the centre of one of the most important engineering/manufacturing areas in the UK and establish UCLan as a leading university for developing engineering innovation with industry.

We are seeking to appoint a Lecturer in Quantity Surveying to support the School in delivering its commitments to teaching, research and income generation in the general area of Quantity Surveying. The successful applicant will have a successful track record of research or industrial experience in Quantity Surveying and an ability to develop research activity. Particular specialisms of interest to the School would include (but are not limited to): Measurement, Cost Planning, Building Economics, and Construction Contract Law.
