Description: The Department of Near Eastern Studies at Princeton University invites applications for a one-year full-time position in Modern Hebrew at the rank of Lecturer. The appointment is for the 2024-2025 academic year. Native or near-native command of Hebrew required. Advanced degree required, Ph.D. preferred. Prior language teaching experience is preferred. The successful candidate will be teaching first, second, third and/or fourth-year classes (a total of 12 hours of classroom contact per week per semester).
