Base Salary from $113,185 + 17% superannuation

Our team of researchers lead key internationally competitive research from molecules to medicines, from patient to policy across a range of therapeutic areas.
We are currently seeking to appoint a Lecturer in Molecular and Cellular Biomedicine.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
deliver teaching in basic molecular and cellular biomedicine teaching and unit of study coordination in the Bachelor of Medical Science and the Bachelor of Oral Health
undertake curriculum development in molecular and cellular biomedicine in current and future education programs for undergraduate and postgraduate students
be an effective supervisor of research projects of Honours students and HDR candidates
deliver research expertise in synthetic, structural, chemical and/or cell biology, with a focus on the use of frontier methods (chemical or RNA/DNA/Omics tools, biomolecular engineering, cell biology) to extend fundamental knowledge of mechanisms in biology
contribute to other research, education, and administrative endeavors of the School of Medical Sciences, as directed.
About you
have a PhD in an academic field relevant to molecular and cellular biomedicine
have experience in teaching and learning, including demonstrated experience in designing, implementing, and evaluating teaching and learning initiatives
have an emerging interdisciplinary research profile in synthetic, structural, chemical and/or cell biology
have demonstrated potential to establish a competitive research program in your field of expertise through emerging inter-institutional research networks, high-impact publications, supervision of Honours and HDR candidates, and applying for/securing research funding
be goal oriented, strategic, and innovative in your research vision to address global challenges in health and disease.
