Lancaster Medical School (LMS) is a growing, innovative and vibrant Division of the Faculty of Health and Medicine, whose guiding principle is to deliver excellence in medical training and health related research. Alongside highly ranked undergraduate programs we have both taught and research postgraduate students with a critical mass in health data science as part of the Centre for Health Informatics Computing and Statistics (CHICAS). We wish to appoint a Lecturer at Grade 7 level to join CHICAS to support the teaching and scholarship activities of the group.
We are looking for dynamic individuals to join us and become a part of the intellectual and collective life of the School. In return, we can offer you a friendly research and teaching environment that strongly supports the individual needs of each employee and actively promotes a healthy work-life balance. The Faculty is committed to family-friendly and flexible working policies and has held a Silver Athena SWAN award since 2014 in recognition of its good employment practice undertaken to address gender equality in higher education and research. LMS is committed to ensuring our workforce is reflective of our diverse student population and is therefore committed to increasing representation of racially minoritized staff across all roles and at all levels.
This post will be appointed on an indefinite basis and is a full-time post. The post is available from 1st February 2023.
