We are recruiting for an exceptional individual with a track record of teaching and research in human clinical andrology, clinical embryology and assisted reproduction technology to join us as a Lecturer in Human Clinical Andrology within the School of Medicine to teach on our established and highly regarded suite of taught Masters  programme in the field of Human Clinical Embryology and Assisted Reproduction Technology.

The Lectureship will be based in the Specialist Science Education Department within the Leeds Institute of Cardiovascular and Metabolic Medicine, in the School of Medicine. The successful candidate will join the multi-disciplinary teaching, research and scholarship environment provided by the Reproduction and Early Development Research Group. The successful candidate will contribute to our highly successful distance learning, Masters programme in Clinical Embryology. This part-time, international programme was launched in 2000 to provide a professional qualification for established practitioners. 

The successful candidate will also contribute teaching and learning on our market leading, full time, vocational, F2F Masters in Clinical Embryology and Assisted Reproduction Technology which was established in 2014 for aspiring practitioners. Further contributions to teaching reproductive science at undergraduate level 3 are expected.  These activities will include delivery of lectures and tutorials, laboratory skills training in assisted reproductive technologies, project supervision, assessments, provision of feedback and pastoral care. It is expected that the new lecturer will contribute to curriculum review and to the development of online resources and assessment methods as well as course recruitment and marketing. The successful candidate will be appointed at a level appropriate to qualifications and experience.
