The School of Natural Sciences at the University of Hull is seeking applications for a three year fixed term lectureship to develop its new Applied Mathematics provision, and support the newly established Centres for Mathematical Sciences and Data Science, AI & Modelling.

You will have a strong research record in areas including, but not limited to, mathematical modelling, data science, numerical analysis, and/or high performance computing; interdisciplinary research straddling the Faculty of Science and Engineering’s strengths, including engineering and physical science, marine and biological sciences, and energy & the environment is desirable. 

This is an opportunity to build your career by identifying and conducting your own and collaborative research projects, by teaching students at undergraduate and postgraduate level, and contributing to the successes of the Centres for Mathematical Sciences and Data Science, AI & Modelling.
