Applications are invited for a full-time Lecturer in Advanced Clinical Optometric Practice either a ‘Teaching and Scholarship’ or a ‘Teaching and Research’ role, depending on the successful applicant. The successful applicant will be registered with the General Optical Council (or other equivalent healthcare regulator) and will take primary responsibility for maintaining the CPD and PGT courses in Optometry. Further to this, the successful applicant will also either (a) contribute significantly to the teaching provision to the undergraduate and postgraduate optometry programmes offered by the university or (b) contribute significantly to research in optometry, vision sciences or related areas, in addition to some teaching on the optometry programmes offered by the university.
