Full-time Lecturer for Informatics Automation Technology Department40 h / WeekYOUR TASKS

• Teaching in the field of informatics in English language in the full-time Bachelor’s degree programme Smart Automation
• Design, acquisition, support and supervision of student projects, Bachelor’s and Master’s theses
• Contribution to the further development of the teaching content and didactic concepts of the department
• Representing the department externally and supporting the department management in dealing with internal and external stakeholders
• Design, acquisition and realization of national and international R&D projects
• Publication activity and lectures at expert symposia and conferences

YOUR PROFILE

• Technical graduate with diploma or master’s degree (technical university, university of applied sciences), preferably in the field of informatics with expertise in Data Science and AI. A PhD degree is desirable, but not mandatory
• Many years of relevant professional experience within and/or outside the higher education sector
• Teaching experience, ideally in the higher education sector, excellent didactic and rhetorical skills
• Conceptual and analytical thinking together with an autonomous and goal-oriented style of working
• Sense of responsibility, performance and practical orientation, entrepreneurial thinking and acting
• Willingness to travel, very good knowledge of the English language, both oral and written
• Knowledge of German language at least B2
