Description
The Department of English at Clemson University seeks highly qualified and motivated candidates for Lecturer positions. We anticipate having multiple openings for start dates of January 1, 2023, and August 15, 2023. Lecturers in the English Department are responsible for teaching a 4/4 course load. The 9-month salary is $44,000. These will be annual renewable positions with benefits packages. Additionally, there are summer teaching opportunities.
Qualifications
Desired candidates will have a strong commitment to teaching general education classes. The typical course load will be composed of 1000-level Composition and 2000-level Arts and Humanities Literature courses. The latter includes courses in World, British, American, and African American Literature. A strong background in teaching undergraduates is required.
