The Department of Accounting and Finance at Lancaster University Management School (LUMS) invites applications for Lecturer (Assistant Professor) position in Finance, to begin in August 2024. The Department welcomes applications in the areas of asset pricing and financial markets, with an investment focus. Significant reductions in teaching duties over the first years will apply.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
You should have a Ph.D. in Finance or a related discipline or should be expected to complete their Ph.D. in the near future. You should be able to pursue your own independent research and develop publications in top and high quality finance journals and should be able to deliver excellent teaching at both the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. The position carries a typical total salary package of up to £60,000 per annum. In exceptional circumstances, it may be possible to offer an additional supplement. Any such supplement will be awarded on the basis of a demonstrable record of exceptional achievement and is entirely at the discretion of the University.
